Why Ideal Feet Works
Many foot, knee and back problems occur when the feet are not in their ideal position. Ideal Feet products are designed to help all 26 bones and 4 arches in each foot find their ideal position. According to a recent study by the American Podiatric Medical Association 85% of the population suffers from a problem associated with their feet.
California College of Podiatry
The California College of Podiatry conducted a study using a style of our products. The study measured plantar pressures during the gait cycle. When any bone in the foot is not properly aligned, the scientist can see uneven pressure in the forefoot. Uneven pressure on the ball of the foot tells a researcher about the subject’s alignment during gait. The research demonstrated that pressure in the metatarsal area was greatly diminished when the subjects wore the arch supports. The supports gave the subjects “enhanced support” and “greatly diminished force to the forefoot without causing instability.”
Michigan State University
In a 1997 study, researchers at Michigan State University focused on capturing changes in motion and balance of subjects while wearing the supports. Scientists discovered that the supports created a substantial change in posture and gait. The supports reduced knee and back pain by substantially reducing the force and the torque on the body during gait.
